Dictador Rima is a continuation of the limited vintages series, crafted under the supervision of Hernan Parra. Named after the Spanish word “rime,” it reflects the poetic harmony and synergy found inside each bottle — flavours composed with balance, rhythm and elegance. Aged in American Oak with Port and Sherry influences, Rima expressions deliver refined depth, layered texture and memorable aromatic composition. Rum Dictador Rima I — SHERRY FINISH 2006 — Tasting Notes Nose: Big and bold with lots of freshly varnished oak, and big vanilla notes coming through. There is a dry note of juicy white grapes, and some oak notes reminiscent of bold Chardonnay. Palate: Unctuous and oily tinned tropical fruit salad leads first, backed by smoky bonfire embers and coastal, salty notes that bring depth. Finish: Soft with a lovely juicy note of ripe cherries and the toasted top of a crème brûlée.
