Dictador Rima is a sequential edition within the limited vintages collection, aged under the supervision of Master Blender Hernan Parra. Named after the Spanish word “rime,” it reflects poetic harmony — each release forming a symphony of flavours, precision and refinement. Aged in American Oak with Port and Sherry finishes, Rima expressions reveal layered depth, showcasing a seamless balance between structure, maturity and aromatic expression. Rum Dictador Rima I — PORT FINISH 2000 — Tasting Notes Nose: Deep dark coffee notes, with robusto cigar notes. Freshly chopped oak and some clove notes give this real depth. Earthy notes of old leather add textures and layers of complexity. Palate: This is a really big and rich palate full of coffee, oak, cigar and vintage leather notes. There is black forest gateau, cocoa powder and hints of smoke to it. Rich, rounded and full. Finish: Long and lingering with leather and clove notes.

Nose

Dark chocolate cake, soft coffee notes and hints of cinnamon, with some red apples and raisins.

Palate

A big, rich palate with notes of chocolate truffles, ginger biscuits and some dates and figs.

Finish

Soft coffee and toffee notes, with a touch of cocoa powder.
