Rum Dictador 2 Masters Carlos I 1980 — Tasting Notes Nose: Rich dark chocolate, black cherries and oolong tea. Freshly cut oak mixes with antique books and vintage, well-varnished furniture — luxurious and opulent. Figs drizzled in honey complete the aromatic profile. Palate: Juicy red apples lead, followed by fresh ginger, ripe red cherries and subtle milk chocolate. Tropical fruit notes appear — pineapple in syrup and honeyed apricots with almond flakes. Spun sugar and a touch of ginger add lift and warmth. Finish: Long, lingering and warming — layers of ginger, cedar wood and candied orange peel dipped in dark chocolate.
