Rum Dictador Libreto — AMERICAN OAK — 1997 — Tasting Notes (43%) Nose: Oak spices with hints of nutmeg and mace, some notes of black pepper and then sticky toffee pudding. Orange flower water gives some light citrus notes. Palate: A smooth and supple palate gives dates with some white chocolate and a liquorice spice, too. Complex red fruits, plums and figs abound. Finish: The liquorice comes to the fore, with a hint of white pepper.
