Dictador 2 Masters is a project in which Dictador entrusts its superior aged Colombian rum to outstanding masters from other spirit categories. Selected barrels are sent to their cellars to continue maturation: in a different cellar, on a different continent, under the expertise of another Cellar Master. This way, the lines between spirits categories are blurred and each release becomes a unique collaboration and a highly secure, collectible bottling. Rum Dictador 2 Masters Barton 1979/82 — STRAIGHT RYE — TASTING NOTES Nose: Charred oak, spiciness, dark fruits, peppery and tobacco notes. Palate: Upfront substantial cinnamon, clove and nutmeg which transitions to a buttery caramel, dark fruit, dark chocolate, vanilla and expansive rye spiciness. Finish: Toffee, sugar cane, pepperiness, and charred oak with a long and lingering spiciness. A magnificent marriage of distinctive and contrasting bold flavours.
