Rum Dictador 2 Masters — Penderyn Distillery — Vintage 2000 — Tasting Notes (46.2%) Nose: Lovely and fruity. With notes of rich maraschino cherry, stewed fruits, grapes, prunes and dates. A touch of banana with toasted almonds, some slight notes of charred oak and sweet butterscotch. Palate: Intense flavours consistent with the nose. Flavours of red fruits and wild berries, sweet salted caramel with banana and toasted vanilla, followed by an array of toasted oak. Finish: A long velvety finish, with a lasting toasted oak coating.
