Rum Dictador 2 Masters — Penderyn Distillery — Vintage 1991 — Tasting Notes (40.7%) Nose: Gentle peat on the nose with just a touch of tobacco. Sweetness of over-ripe fruit and pear drops, along with vanilla and fudge. Palate: Well balanced. Soft peat with subtle hints of smoke. Dried fruits, some citrus and pineapple, with a drizzle of syrup and oaky spices. Finish: A full in the mouth feel with a long finish. Some tropical fruits, marmalade and a touch of earthy notes along with lightly charred oak.
